The whole process is simple and straightforward.
It's important for you to know the following information:

1. Reserving a painting: ask if a painting is available

When you choose a painting from our catalogue contact us to check whether the painting is still available. The collection is constantly updated. There is always a possibility that a painting has just been sold. 

To reserve a painting, you must let us know the name of the artist and the catalogue number of the painting (the number is on the left side under the catalogue reproduction). The painting will be reserved for you as soon as you contact us expressing your wish to purchase it. We would appreciate it if you could tell us your preferred method of payment. You will also need to provide us with your full mailing address so that the painting can be shipped to you. See also Shipping

If you place an order directly through the web-site you will be contacted by us one day after receipt of the order at the latest, confirming the order. 

2. Price: what is included

The price of a painting also includes: 

- wooden stretcher/structure (for painting on canvas); 

- frame (for paintings presented on the web site already framed); 

packing

shipping.

The most suitable method of packing and shipping for any painting is included in the painting price listed. The recommended method is based on our expertise for safe and fast artwork delivery. 

Your personal preferences for the delivery are the subject for individual discussion. 

If you are interested in more than one painting, the overall price may be discounted and may warrant further negotiation. 

3. Three ways to pay

You can pay in several ways: 

- you can use a credit card; 

- you can wire money to our bank account; 

- you can pay in cash directly at our gallery.

Credit card acceptance

This is the simplest and the quickest way to purchase a painting.

We accept USD, EUR and CZK. You just fill in the form, which can be downloaded from the site, see below:

- Microsoft Word document (.doc): Download 

- Adobe Acrobat document (.pdf): Download 

- HTML: Download

and fax it to us using the following fax number: +420 222 222 167. We inform you as soon as your card is accepted and ship your painting immediately. 

The debit will appear on your credit card statement as

"ART MASTER GALLERY". 

Please retain a copy of the transaction at an easily accessible place. Your confirmation may be necessary in case the company authorizing the payment by a credit/debit card would like to contact you for receiving a confirmation of the transaction authenticity.

It also may be necessary for all cases of refund, order cancellation etc. 

Direct money transfer

If the first method is not convenient for you, you can also wire money directly to our bank account. This takes a little more time, since we cannot make the shipment until the money has arrived in our bank account. On average the transfer takes 3-7 working days. 

Payment in cash

If you are in Prague, then we are, of course, old-fashioned enough to accept cash. Do not forget, please, to reserve the painting you are interested in before you visit the gallery, unless you are prepared to rely on your luck or are spontaneous in your choice. 

4. Packing

All paintings will be packed thoroughly before being sent to you. There are several ways to pack a painting safely. The final choice is always up to you.

- The painting could be rolled. 

- The painting can be packed stretched, with the frame where appropriate. 

- Any kind of print can be packed in a cardboard envelope, or rolled.

The safest way to ship a canvas is to roll it on a tube protected with bubble rap and/or cardboard. In this case the frame and wooden structure on which the painting was previously stretched are dismantled and packed together with the roll, assuming that they are still objects of interest for you. 

There are always cases when it is not wise to roll a painting. In these situations the stretched painting together with the frame is usually protected with bubble rap, cardboard or chipboard. When a painting is packed this way, the shipping costs are likely to be higher. 

Paintings on paper are usually packed in cardboard envelopes, since this is, in most cases, sufficient to ensure their safety in transit. 

5. Shipping

When purchasing a painting from our gallery, you are always given a choice of shipping services to be entrusted with the task of delivering your painting.

The services we use are as following: 

- Postal Service of the Czech Republic. 

- Express Mail Service (EMS). 

- Federal Express (FedEx), DHL or UPS.

Postal Service of the Czech Republic

This is the cheapest method of delivery. It is most frequently used for the delivery of graphics/prints and small paintings on canvas. The average time of delivery is 4-20 days to any part of the world. 

Express Mail Service (EMS)

This is the branch of the Postal Service of the Czech Republic that gives better service and is somewhat quicker on delivery. The maximum time for delivery is a period of 7 days. It is a little more expensive than the first option. 

Federal Express (FedEx), DHL or UPS

Definitely the quickest and most reliable way to get your shipment. Insurance is possible. The average time of delivery is around 2-5 days. Both services give you an opportunity to track your shipment via the Internet if you consider it worth the effort. Despite all the above-mentioned benefits, those two services are the most expensive ones. 

Self-delivery

If you are visiting Prague, you can always pick your painting yourself. By the time of your arrival, the painting will have been packed in the prearranged way most suitable for your needs. 

We have already sold and successfully arranged shipping of hundreds of our paintings to following countries: USA, UK, Ireland, Canada, France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Russia, Switzerland, Australia, Japan, Greece, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Luxemburg, Belgium, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Cyprus, Hong-Kong, Thailand, Hungary, Iceland, India, Israel, Mexico, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Romania, South Africa, Spain, Turkey and others. 

6. Privacy Policy

The information that we collect during a purchase is necessary for us to fulfill your order and provide the best customer service possible. We will not sell or provide your private information to any outside company for its use in marketing or solicitation. 

We may disclose your information in certain cases where we have your permission or under special circumstances, such as when we believe it is required by law. 

Periodically, we will use the information provided to us to notify you of important announcements regarding special offers or appearance of new artists in our gallery. 

We also provide free email newsletters to those who are interested in receiving them. 

If you would rather not receive these updates and/or newsletters, you can request to be excluded from these announcements by sending the request by e-mail to artmaster@inmodern.com or by fax to +420 222 222 167. We also include unsubscribe instructions with each email newsletter we send out. 

7. Refund and Cancellation Policy

A full refund will be granted for: 

- Painting received damaged. 

- Painting not received due to an error on ART MASTER Gallery’s part. 

Reclamations are accepted within the period of 30 days from the date of a purchase. 

A date considered as the date of the purchase is either: 

- date of a payment by cash; 

- date of authorization of a payment by a card; 

- or date of receipt of money on gallery’s bank account if the payment was realized by bank wire transfer order. 

The refund will be granted within 30 days after you proved the damage by sending us images of damaged parts or actually the painting. Your shipping expenses will also be refunded in this case. 

We apologize that we cannot offer refunds for any other cases except above. 

You may cancel an order till either you or we initiated the payment process. 

- From your side it may be a bank wire transfer order or payment by cash. 

- From our side it is an authorization of payment by your credit/debit card according to information you provided us with. 

When the payment process is initiated the purchase is considered as made. 

All cases that are not described above may be discussed individually for finding the most appropriate solution for both you and us. 

8. Security Policy

We guarantee the highest level of security for your confidential information while you shop. When placing orders, all of your personal information including name and contact information cannot be read by anybody else as we personally receive it. 

9. Your Feedback

It's very important for us to get feedback from you. The most important factor for us is to know whether you are satisfied with the painting and services rendered. We will be very thankful for your testimonial. You can leave it in our guestbook
